Gillian Reidy is creative director and business owner at Penhouse Design. Originally set up in Dublin over 25 years ago, the company today is based in Ratheniska, Laois offering a senior design team, with branding and communications expertise across the private and public sector. Penhouse have a huge range of design recognitions won nationally and internationally, including multiple grand-prix, gold and silver awards, for creative design and marketing effectiveness. Gillian herself has a keen interest in business strategy and creative development and was previously awarded Laois Business Person of the Year. She has been a panellist and board member on a number of design and corporate initiatives over the years, in mentoring, business and judging capacities.
Penhouse clients include many government departments ranging from the Taoiseach, Agriculture and Climate Change, to Children and Equality. Other clients include OPW, Bord Bia, Clonakilty Food Co., Lily O’Brien’s, Druids Glen Hotel and Golf Resort, Lyrath Estate, Carlow, Laois, Clare, Kilkenny and Leitrim tourism groups as well as a broad range of private companies and Laois based businesses. Penhouse is currently one of only five recommended design companies in Ireland selected by Bord Bia for their SuperBrands programme, so they have a particular expertise in the area of food branding and packaging design, as well as consumer insight and production knowledge.
