Dr. Michelle Byrne graduated from University College Dublin in 2004 and became a Member of the Irish College of General Practitioners (MICGP) in 2012. She has worked as a GP in both Ireland and Australia, returning to County Laois in 2013. Initially based in Mountmellick, she later joined Dr. Honan’s practice in Portlaoise — now known as Maryborough Family Practice (MFP). Dr. Byrne has played a key role in the growth and development of MFP, which now provides care to approximately 10,000 members of the community.
