Laois Chamber Alliance has launched a Laois Skills Survey to provide an up-to-date profile of the skills and educational profile of the county’s workforce and to identify the sectors in which those in employment are currently working.
People currently living in Laois and either working in the county or commuting to other counties for work are being urged to take part in the short survey.
Laois Chamber Alliance chief executive Caroline Hofman said: “It is crucial for existing employers and those interested in investing in the county to see what skills and talent are available to them.
“We have a fantastic pool of talent and this survey will help us in identifying the existing skills within the county. It will also provide a picture of the skillsets and qualifications employees both working in Laois and commuting outside of the county have.
“Access to skills and talent is a key area of importance for employers across all sectors, so it is essential that we have this up to date information which can be utilised to shape future policy and to promote investment and encourage employment in Laois.”
Anyone who completes the survey will be in with the chance of winning a €50 Laois Gift Card. The survey takes less than five minutes to complete. Click here to take part: 2023 Laois Skills Survey (google.com)
The survey will close for submissions on Monday 13 March 2023. Please feel free to share the below QR code for the survey with friends, family, colleagues and employees.
