Laois Chamber Alliance is calling on local businesses to make the most of their Chamber membership and take part in its upcoming Regional Gathering on Friday, 12th June 2026 from 12:30pm to 13:30pm.

This event is designed to help members build stronger business relationships, increase their visibility, connect with other business owners and better understand how to use the Chamber network to support their business. Non members are welcome to join us to understand the benefits of being part of the business community.

For many entrepreneurs and SME owners, running a business can be a lonely place. Behind the independence and ambition are long hours, difficult decisions and the pressure of carrying responsibility, often without regular opportunities to speak with others who understand the realities of business life.

Laois Chamber Alliance believes that strong business connections are no longer a “nice to have” they are an important part of business resilience, confidence and growth.

As the largest business representative organisation in the county, with more than 130 members across a wide range of sectors, Laois Chamber Alliance works to create opportunities for businesses to engage, collaborate and support one another under its motto, “Stronger Together for Laois.”

The Regional Gathering will focus on helping members and non members move beyond passive membership and actively use the Chamber network to create value for their business.

Businesses attending will have the opportunity to:

  • build new business relationships
  • reconnect with fellow members
  • explore referral and collaboration opportunities
  • share challenges and learn from other business owners
  • better understand the supports and visibility available through Chamber membership
  • strengthen their connection with the wider Laois and Midlands business community.

Jackie Carroll, CEO of Laois Chamber Alliance, said the event is about helping members get real value from being involved.

“One conversation can lead to a new customer, a collaboration, a solution to a problem, a referral or simply reassurance that you are not facing those challenges alone.”

The Chamber says the gathering is particularly important at a time when businesses are navigating rising costs, workforce challenges, changing customer expectations and ongoing economic uncertainty.

Jackie Carroll added:

“No business should feel invisible within its own county. Our role is to help businesses connect, be seen, find opportunities and feel part of a wider business community.

This Regional Gathering is a practical opportunity for members to step into the network, meet the people behind other businesses and see what being actively involved in Laois Chamber Alliance can do for them.”

Laois Chamber Alliance is encouraging businesses to attend, bring business cards, make new connections and use the event as a practical business development opportunity.
